It’ll be my first performance of 2017! It’ll also be my first performance with my new sound activated light suit I’ve been creating with Bernie Rohde!

I’ve been busy filming, directing and editing this video as well as recording my new EP that will be out later this year! March 4th will be a big night for so many reasons!

Saturday, March 4, 2017 Idea Exchange will present the first edition of its new fundraising event, Volume 1: Excess Party. The event will take place on all three floors of the Queen’s Square location and will feature an array of entertainment and activities including DJs, dancing, film installations, fashion phenomena, gaming, body art, virtual reality experiences, vocal and dance performances, story and fortune tellers, and other cool happenings. Branded as an excessive tricked-out, teased high affair, 2017 will be the first volume of a new style of fundraiser for the Idea Exchange art galleries.
The evening will be hosted by Gayle O’Brien morning radio host at 107.5 Dave Rocks. It will launch with a complimentary champagne clink followed by a great roster of entertainment that will weave through the evening. Some of the excess event highlights will include: DJ Record Collective (past ROM and AGO party DJs) in the Light Cube with dancing and videos, performances by Guelph-based vocal collective Ondine Chorus, dance performances by ONE Movement, Friends of the Floor and Academy Ballet Classique, fortune tellers and Fresh Stories, hair art by FAD Hair Studio, body art by Jennifer Tiger Lily in the Gawk Box, lip locker with makeup artist Lisa Torti, a mystery wine wall, adventures with Escape Room, and virtual reality painting in the Gamers Lamp Lounge.
